My How Time Flies....

I've always heard different people talk about their kids being  2 one day and 22 the next or something along those lines. I 've always wondered how twenty years could pass and actually feel like they went by fast. I mean, twenty years is a looongg time! I am, however, beginning to understand and it makes me kind of sad to think about it. Camdyn will be THREE in two weeks and I do remember the day I was in the hospital giving birth to her like it was YESTERDAY! She is growing so fast...physically, emotionally, mentally and yes even spiritually. She seems so mature for her age and I'm not just bragging because she's my daughter. She truly is the smartest (almost) three-year-old I have ever met. There have been times that I have had to stop and remind myself that she is only two. And Levi, that silly boy! He gives me two or three new words every day. This morning he was carrying around a picture of Mickey Mouse and crew saying "Mommy, Goofus! Look, Mama! Goofus!" It was the cutest thing (I didn't even know he recognized who Goofy was). Not that I should be sharing this and by the way, I did discipline him, but he was also yelling at Gigi's birds this morning, "Sut up, sut up bird!" Where in the world did he hear that phrase??? Steven and I do not tell each other or our children to Shut Up ever!!! They are both like little sponges soaking up everything they experience. They are exploring their world and learning their surroundings and boundries. Their five senses are their best friends right now. I am recognizing this more and more everyday and trying to make myself more aware of the things that I want them to either absorb or ignore. I am sure Levi will repeat the phrase "Shut Up" again, and again, I will tell him that we do not say those words because they're not nice. This process will continue for the rest of their childhoods and they will grow up to be wonderful, beautiful, loving, men and women of God twenty years from now. I will then be 47 and look back and remember this time like it was just yesterday. My how time flys......

Getting Excited!

My sister Dana is pregnant with her first child and is due any day now. At her appointment yesterday, she was already 3 centimeters dialated. The doctor offered to admit her and induce labor today, but she wants to wait it out and see if my sweet little niece, Jericha Nicole will come on her own. Dana is so much stronger than I am, if I were in the same situation, I would be in the hospital right now hooked up to an IV and belly monitor! On that note, hurry up Jericha, we are all so anxious to meet you!

These are some pictures from her Baby Shower a couple of weeks ago. We had so much fun!

Bumbleride Indie Twin Giveaway

So, I have been thinking alot lately about the arrival of this new baby and all the stuff that we are going to need when he gets here. I definitely won't need as much with this pregnancy as I did with Camdyn and Levi, but there are some key items that I am wanting/needing. One of those being a double stroller.

The Shopping Mama http://www.theshoppingmama.com/ started a new giveaway today for a new Bumbleride Indie Twin Stroller. You can check out all the specs on this stroller at the Bumbleride website http://www.bumbleride.com/. It is absolutely awesome. It has everything I am looking for in a double stroller. It's attractive, it's side by side, the seats fully recline individually, it comes with an adapter bar for an infant carseat, and soooo much more!! Not to mention it's beautiful (especially in the seagrass color). I love this stroller, I just don't love the pricetag! At $660 it would be quite a splurge for us, that's why I am writing this blog. The shopping Mama is giving her readers and followers the opportunity to win the awesome stroller simply by commenting on her post, following her on twitter, following Bumbleride on Facebook, and 10 entries just for blogging. How generous is she?!?!?!?

If your like me and are in search of some awesome baby and kid products, check out the Shopping Mama's Blog. She has tons of giveaways posted. The stroller is just the beginning. I am hoping to win the Bumbleride Indie Twin for Levi and Zachary and who knows, maybe I'll just give my Peg Perego Aria Twin to one of you when I do!
